The Alaska Department of
Environmental Conservation (ADEC), U.S. Coast Guard, and the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) are seeking public input on Change 3 to the Prince
William Sound Subarea Contingency Plan for Oil and Hazardous Substance Spills
and Releases (PWS SCP). The PWS SCP
contains information on emergency response notification and procedures,
available resources for a spill response, and environmentally sensitive areas
in the Prince William Sound subarea. This
plan supplements the Alaska Federal/State
Preparedness Plan for Response to Oil and Hazardous Substance
Discharges/Releases (the Unified Plan).
The public review period extends from May 5 to June 5, 2014.
The draft plan and the
Unified Plan are available for review on the Alaska Regional Response Team’s
website at www.alaskarrt.org.
You may comment on the
draft plan by submitting written comments to: Young Ha, ADEC, 555 Cordova
Street 2nd Floor, Anchorage, AK

p.m. on June 5, 2014. Written comments
received are public record and are subject to public inspection.

changes without further notice, or decide to take no action.
