NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

State Vocational Rehabilitation Committee to meet in Kodiak
May 13 and 14, 2014

The State Vocational Rehabilitation Committee (SVRC) will hold its quarterly meeting in Kodiak on May 13 and 14, 2014 in the Best Western Kodiak Inn Conference Room at 236 Rezanof Drive, Kodiak, Alaska 99615.

Meeting Schedule Details

May 13

• The meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
• Public Testimony on the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation’s services will be heard from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The Division will also be taking public comment on its FFY 2014 State Plan at this time.

May 14

• The meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

How to Participate in the Public Testimony

1. In-person by coming to Kodiak Best Western Conference Room at 236 Rezanof Drive, Kodiak, Alaska 99615 during the public testimony portion of the meeting on May 13, 2014 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
2. By email to Jason.Caputo@alaska.gov or by fax to Jason Caputo at 907-465-2856. Your email or fax should include your permission to read it aloud at the public meeting and sent by 5:00 p.m., May 8, 2014.
3. By phone on May 13, 2014 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Call 1-888-354-0094 and, when prompted, enter the conference code number 2179208 followed by the # sign.
4. In writing and including your permission to read aloud at the public meeting, by mailing your comments by 5:00 p.m., May 8, 2014 to:

Emailed, faxed or written testimony received after 5:00 p.m., May 8, 2014 will be read at a future SVRC quarterly public meeting.  

If you intend to provide your testimony in person or by phone, letting us know in advance will help us better coordinate the public testimony.
