The Alaska Health Care Commission will meet Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21, 2013 in Anchorage. This meeting will focus on price and quality transparency in health care, hospital discharge data, and All-Payer Claims Databases, and will include educational sessions on health care finance and pricing, and health insurance cost drivers.
The Commission, authorized under AS 18.09.010, is charged with fostering the development of a statewide plan to address the quality, accessibility, and availability of health care for all citizens of the state.
