The State of Alaska, Health and Social Services seeks to procure a contractor to coordinate training and technical assistance to K-12 obesity prevention grantees implementing comprehensive obesity prevention programs within the school setting. The contractor should use and be experts in the School Health Guidelines to Promote Healthy Eating and Physical Activity, published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the USDA Food and Nutrition Services guidance on implementing the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010.

Deadline for receipt of proposals: June 20, 2013 @ 4:00 pm, Alaska Prevailing Time. Faxed or oral proposals are not acceptable. An offeror’s failure to submit a proposal prior to the deadline will cause the proposal to be disqualified. Late proposals or amendments will not be opened or accepted for evaluation.
