LearnAlaska is Live
On Tuesday, June 4, the LearnAlaska Learning Management System (LMS) is live! You
may now search for and enroll in training courses offered by the Divisions of Personnel
& Labor Relations (DOPLR) and Finance (DOF) in LearnAlaska.
LearnAlaska can be accessed at https://learn.alaska.gov/portal.
From this portal page, you will have access to announcements, helpful reference
guides, frequently asked questions, contact information, and the Login link for
LearnAlaska. You may login to LearnAlaska using your State of Alaska Active Directory
User ID and password.
What is LearnAlaska?
LearnAlaska is the on-line LMS the State is using to train employees and to track
workforce training efforts. LearnAlaska offers an enterprise solution to manage
and report on training activity for those courses administered in LearnAlaska. LearnAlaska
also provides enhanced functionality for course content management, staff enrollments,
and tracking course completion. It is a component of IRIS, the statewide effort
to implement an integrated accounting, financial, payroll, human resources, and
Why is the State implementing LearnAlaska?
The State of Alaska is implementing LearnAlaska to meet the training demands of
the IRIS effort and to address limitations and usability issues with the State's
current training applications.
What do you need to know?
For the initial phase of implementation, all courses offered by DOPLR and DOF will
be administered through LearnAlaska. Please note that courses offered by the Division
of General Services (DGS) related to the Procurement Officer Certification Program
will continue to be administered in TrainAlaska. You may continue browse and enroll
in DGS courses by using the State Employee Log In below.
