PROPOSAL TO LEASE STATE LAND
AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, proposes to execute a Land Lease at Fairbanks International Airport for Block 1, Lot(s) 2A, 2B, and 5A, containing approximately 125,925 square feet, 69,000 square feet, and 2,975 square feet, respectively. The file number is ADA-90918, and the applicant is State of Alaska – Division of Forestry. The term of the lease is 55 years commencing May 1, 2022 through May 1, 2077. Annual rent for Block 1, Lot 2 collectively is $23,391, at the rate of $0.12 per square foot per year. Annual rent for Block 1, Lot 5A is the current aircraft ramp rental rate.
Written comments or competing applications must be received by 5 p.m., March 25, 2022, after which the Airport Manager will determine whether or not to execute the lease.
