PROPOSAL TO LEASE STATE LAND
AT FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, is proposing to add vacant lease lots for general aviation development on the East Ramp. With limited exceptions, Title 17 requires all lease lots to be developed in full within two years from the date of lease execution.
Block 99, Lots 1-14: General Aviation Development: A vacant parcel of land adjacent to the float pond extension near the Mitchell Expressway is now designated as Block 99. Lots 1 - 14 and are available for general aviation development. Lots 1-3 and 8-14 are 130’x110’ consisting of 14,300 square feet and Lots 4-7 are 175’x110’ consisting of 19,230 square feet (see attached exhibit for the image of the location).
Written comments must be received by 5 p.m., September 4, 2021, after which the airport manager will determine whether or not to add these lots to the available inventory. The department reserves the right to correct technical defects, premises description, term, or purposes and may reject any or all applications or comments.
