INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Ekwok Airport & New Stuyahok Airport Resurfacing, Project Number AIP 3-02-0088-004-2021 & AIP 3-02-0193-004-2021, Project No. CFAPT00292, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 11, 2021 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded contract includes the rehabilitation of two airports located Northeast of Dillingham along the Nushagak River. Project CFAPT00292 is located at the Ekwok Airport and Project CFAPT00871 is located at the New Stuyahok Airport. Both projects include the resurfacing of existing runway, taxiway and apron operating surfaces and the re-establishment of embankment crowns and grades to meet applicable FAA standards. Additional improvements include replacement of runway and taxiway lighting, replacement of existing wind cones, rotating beacons, and aircraft tie-downs, drainage improvements, brush clearing, slope stabilization, and application of a dust palliative.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 30, 2023.
