INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Sterling Highway MP 45-60 Sunrise to Skilak Lake Rd Reconstruction Stage 1A, Project Number 0A33030 / CFHWY00693, will be received before 2:00 p.m., March 26, 2021 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will reconstruct the Sterling Highway beginning near Skilak Lake Road to approximately Mile Post 56. Project work includes excavation and embankment, drainage, retaining walls, wildlife crossings, paving, signing, and striping.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 30, 2022.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
