50880 Proposal to issue a land use Permit at the King Salmon Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to Permit use of four parcels of land consisting of approximately 1,800 square feet each (ADA-50880), at King Salmon Airport for twenty years, to expire June 1, 2039.  Applicant:  U.S. Air Force.  Authorized uses:  Aeronautical – operation and maintenance of two textile brake aircraft arresting systems and underground cables in conjunction with Permittee’s military operations.  Annual rent:  Nil

Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., December 25th, 2020, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the Permit.  The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.  Information is available from Sharyn Augustine, Statewide Aviation Leasing, PO Box 112505, Juneau, AK 99811-2505, phone (907) 465-6893 or fax (907) 465-1395 or email sharyn.augustine@alaska.gov.  Anyone needing hearing impaired accommodation may call TDD (907) 451-2363.
