Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Big Game Commercial Services Board

On October 2, 2020, the Big Game Commercial Services Board adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 75 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations add requirements for jurisprudence examinations for knowledge of AS 08.54 and 12 AAC 75, set up procedures for a registered or master guide-outfitter, unable in the spring 2020 season to hunt brown bear in game management unit 9, to register for the hunt for the spring 2021 season, and clarify reporting requirements for a contracted transportation service.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor (or designee) on October 29, 2020, and will go into effect on November 28, 2020. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 236, January 2021 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
