                                                  NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

                                                                     LAS 30038

Pursuant to AS 46.15 and rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, notice is hereby given that an application was received on November 10, 2014, (Priority Date), from ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., P.O. Box 100360, Anchorage, AK 99510-0360, to appropriate water as follows:

To withdraw up to 22,556,000 gallons of water/or ice aggregate per year from June 1^st through May 31^st from a flooded mine site known as ASRC Mine Site (2005 Pit), located within Section 11, T10N, R5E, Umiat Meridian. Water use is for Oil and Gas Exploration, Development, Operations and Maintenance activities, including public water supply within the Tofkat Oil and Gas Leasing Unit and other lands onshore or offshore for up to thirty miles from the water take point.

The public is invited to comment on these actions. The Water Resources Section must receive comments in writing (including the name and mailing address of the commenter) by 5:00 p.m., November 3, 2020 at the above address to be considered. If issued, a permit may be extended for good cause shown, pursuant to AS 46.15.110 and 11 AAC 93.120(f), without additional public notice.
