The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) is providing notice under the “Fast-track Procedures” of 18 AAC 50.542(b) of the following air quality control minor permit application. A person who desires a 30-day public comment period for this permit application must make their request by 4:30 p.m. October 1, 2020 as described below.

Activity:
Hilcorp North Slope, LLC’s application is classified under 18 AAC 50.502(b)(3) to operate a rock crusher with a rated capacity of at least five tons per hour.
Emissions:
There will be no change in potential emissions.
Opportunity for Public Participation:
Notice is given that any interested person my request a public comment period on a draft permit for this project. If a comment period is requested, ADEC will develop a draft minor permit and issue a public notice announcing a separate comment period. During the comment period, interested persons would have the opportunity to present written statements relevant to the draft permit. ADEC would consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. The final decision to issue or deny the permit would be made after the close of the public comment period.
