Proposed Permit Coverage:
The ADEC proposes to reissue an Alaska Construction General Permit (the permit) for discharges from large and small construction activities. The permit authorizes and sets conditions on the discharge of pollutants from construction projects to waters of the United States. In order to ensure protection of water quality and human health, the permit describes control measures that must be used to control the types and amounts of pollutants that can be discharged from construction activities.
