NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EV-3-335

Notice is hereby given that the Department of Natural Resources, under the authority of AS 40.15.305, shall hold a public hearing. The hearing concerns a petition submitted by William Gilpin to eliminate the boundary common to the Vermont and New Hampshire Placer Claims of US Mineral Survey No. 1131. This replat, located near Nome in Sections 1 & 2, Township 12 South, Range 33 West, Kateel River Meridian will facilitate the proposed Gilpin Heights Subdivision (refer to the attached plats/maps).

Due to mandates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic the public hearing will be held via teleconference at 11:00am on August 5, 2020.  Persons wishing to attend the public hearing must call 1-800-315-6338; at the prompts enter access code 98627 and #.

Persons wanting only to provide comment on the proposed action must submit their comments in writing. Correspondence must be addressed to George Horton, DML&W, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 650, Anchorage, AK 99501, and received by 5:00pm, August 3, 2020 to ensure consideration.
