Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue an Owner Requested Limit approval (ORL) AQ0089ORL09 to State of Alaska, Department of Transportation for the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport under Alaska Statute 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50.
Applicant: State of Alaska Department of Transportation, P.O. Box 196960, Anchorage, AK 99519
Location: 61º 10’ 27” North; 149º 59’ 54” West
Activity: Revise current ORL under 18 AAC 50.225(h) to remove emission units. This public notice is for the draft ORL only.
Emissions: The potential to emit at the stationary source will not exceed 100 tpy for NOx by limiting natural gas consumed and the operating hours of diesel equipment.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC has made a preliminary decision to approve the ORL for the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Notice is also given that any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents by the close of the public comment period. Written comments will be included in the record if received by close of the comment period. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. Any person may request a public hearing and that hearing will be held if ADEC finds that good cause exists. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period. ADEC complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
