JOINT BASE ELMENDORF RICHARDSON (JBER SIC 49)
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue renewal Air Quality Control Operating Permit AQ0237TVP03 to Doyon Utilities, LLC for JBER SIC 49, under Alaska Statutes 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50.

Location: 36010 Arctic Valley Road, Fort Richardson, AK, 99505
Activity: The Doyon Utilities - JBER SIC 49 is an electric service facility located at the JBER military installation.
Emissions: Potential annual emissions of regulated air pollutants will not exceed: 3.2 tons of Particulate Matter, 134.6 tons of Nitrogen Oxides, 4.6 tons of Sulfur Dioxide, 246.4 tons of Carbon Monoxide, and 85.6 tons of Volatile Organic Compounds. The total emissions of regulated air pollutants is 474.4 tons per year.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for the JBER SIC 49 portion of the stationary source.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents by the close of the public comment period. Written comments will be included in the record if received by the close of the public comment period. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or state law. ADEC will make a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period. ADEC complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
