The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has determined that the permit application for operation of an existing Class III Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, described below, is complete. ADEC is proposing to issue a solid waste permit for the facility.

| LOCATION: | Egegik - Approximately 3.3 miles southeast of the community, within Section 20, Township 23S, Range 49W, Seward Meridian. |
| PROJECT DESCRIPTION: | The landfill will serve the 77 residents of Egegik. The site will include a solid waste disposal cell within a fenced area, and a salvage area. The City of Egegik also utilizes an incinerator to reduce waste volume. |
OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: ADEC is seeking comment regarding the proposed permit only. Notice is given that any person interested may present written comments relevant to the proposed permit to ADEC. Written comments will be included in the record if received before 5:00 p.m. on July 13, 2020.
