The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is accepting public comment on the proposed State Fiscal Year 2021 Intended Use Plans and Project Priority Lists for the Alaska Clean Water Fund and the Alaska Drinking Water Fund. In accordance with federal requirements, the Intended Use Plans demonstrate how Alaska intends to use funds made available through the federal Clean Water State Revolving Fund and the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. Available funds are used to issue low-interest loans for planning, designing, and constructing sanitation and drinking water facilities. 

The draft Intended Use Plans are available at https://dec.alaska.gov/water/technical-assistance-and-financing/state-revolving-fund/intended-use-plans/ and upon request.

Written comments will be accepted via email or through regular mail through July 1, 2020, and will be considered in developing the final documents.  Upon adoption, the Intended Use Plans will become official policy of the Department and will serve to determine the award of loans for drinking water and water pollution control projects during State Fiscal Year 2021.
