Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA486-8, seeking to revise its distribution service fee schedule for raising or lowering facilities and special service installations. A sample of the current and proposed fees is listed below:

With TA486-8, Chugach also proposes to add an application fee for non-utility generation interconnection, for customers who install their own generation that will interconnect and operate in parallel with the Chugach system. The proposed application fee would cover the utility’s expense to review interconnection designs, conduct on-site inspections and process applications for installations with a name plate capacity up to 100kW. Chugach proposes an initial fee of $200.00 per application, which will be updated on an annual basis, consistent with its current schedule for distribution service fee updates.
