INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Old Sterling Highway: MP 0.0 to 8.7 Pavement Preservation, Project Number 0001(594)/CFHWY00268, will be received before 2:00 p.m., December 13, 2019, at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will resurface the Old Sterling Highway from MP 0.0 to MP 8.7. The project work includes clearing, pavement pulverizing, paving, guardrail, drainage, ditch linear grading, ditch lining, signing, and striping.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 15, 2020.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
