The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has determined that the City of Dillingham application for the Dillingham Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (MSWLF) permit renewal, No. SW2A015-24, is complete. ADEC is proposing to issue the permit renewal to include a lateral expansion into waste cell 3 of the existing Dillingham MSWLF.

Project Description | The City of Dillingham is applying to modify the operating permit for the Dillingham Landfill, a Class II Municipal MSWLF. The scope of the modification is a lateral expansion which will add one additional waste cell to the landfill, as the existing disposal cell is nearing capacity. |
OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
ADEC is seeking comment regarding the proposed expansion only. Notice is given that any person interested may present written comments relevant to the proposed permit to ADEC. Written comments will be included in the record if received before 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2020.
