Notice is hereby given that the Department of Environmental Conservation, as provided by 18 AAC 76.235, finds the following project qualifies for a Categorical Exclusion (CE) to the Environmental Review Procedures of the Alaska Drinking Water Loan Fund:
Municipality of Anchorage – Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility
Thunderbird Grandview Subdivision Water Upgrade
This project will replace or rehabilitate the existing water distribution main in the Thunderbird Grandview subdivision. Condition assessment of the project pipe and the leak history of the area were used to identify this project.
All work for this project is within previously developed rights-of-way, and will have no impact on any adjacent undeveloped properties or waters. The project will not directly or indirectly adversely affect any of the following:
- Cultural resource areas;
- Endangered or threatened species or their habitat;
- Environmentally important natural areas.
The project will not have a significant adverse effect on the quality of the environment, either individually or cumulatively over time, or in conjunction with other federal, state, local, or private actions.
