On May 10, 2019, the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 36 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern standards for corporate authorizations and registrants, and add clarity to the scope of the authority of an individual in responsible charge to allow any employee of an authorized entity to seal documents for the corporation if authorized by the registrant in responsible charge.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on October 1, 2019, and will go into effect on October 31, 2019. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 232, January 2020 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
