The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for final design services for Phases 3-5 of the Sterling Highway MP 45-60 Sunrise Lake Rd to Skilak Lake Rd project.  Services will include environmental support, geotechnical investigation and recommendations, design study report, public involvement support, design services, utilities support, and assistance during bidding and construction.  Design Services for the Bridge (Phase 2) will be accomplished by the Department’s Bridge Section.  The Contracting Agency anticipates using the CM/GC contracting method for construction of Phases 2-5 which will require a collaborative approach from the design team.  Schedule for this project is of the upmost concern to the Department and our funding partners.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately November 2019 to December 2025.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be $1,000,000 or greater.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available August 19, 2019 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at  before . Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than September 11, 2019, 4:00 PM, prevailing time.
