NOTICE OF PROJECT INFORMATION OPEN HOUSE
Juneau Douglas Highway Resurface and Sidewalk Repair Project SFHWY-00058
The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) invites you to an open house to learn about the proposed Douglas Highway Resurface and Sidewalk Repair Project.

TIME: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Information will be provided on the proposed improvements, anticipated construction activities, and traffic control considerations. Project team members will be available to answer questions and gather comments.
About the Project
DOT&PF proposes to construct the project in order to prolong the life of Douglas Highway’s road surface, maintain adequate drainage features, and bring the pedestrian facilities into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Project work would
• Resurface approximately 2.5 miles of Douglas Highway from St Ann’s Avenue to Egan Drive
• Make repairs to the roundabout
• Resurface the Douglas Bridge
• Repair sidewalks and curbs, culverts and drainage, and add signs
