PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF AN INTEREST IN MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN LEVELOCK, ALASKA BY THE MUNICIPAL LANDS TRUSTEE
In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.410 - .460 the Municipal Lands Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, is considering the issuance of a lease for the following described parcel of Municipal Trust land to Levelock Village for the site of a landfill:
The surface estate of that certain real property located in Sections 28 and 29, Township 12 South, Range 45 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska, being situated in the vicinity of the Native village of Levelock, more particularly identified as Tracts D and E of the Levelock ANCSA 14(c) survey recorded as Plat 2004-1 on March 30, 2004 in the Kvichak Recording District, containing 5.94 acres more or less.
The Levelock Village, the recognized appropriate village entity for the village of Levelock, adopted a resolution approving the lease on April 12, 2019.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed lease.
