On December 6, 2018, the Board of Massage Therapists adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 79 of the Alaska Administrative Code.  The regulations update licensure procedures and requirements, including school education requirements, renewal, and continuing education requirements that will apply on or after July 1, 2019, to reflect amendments to AS 08.61 that will take effect July 1, 2019 under Chapter 10, SLA 2018 (HB 110).

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on March 18, 2019, and will go into effect on April 17, 2019.  See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 230, July 2019 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
