NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Traffic Data Collection Services 2019

The Contractor shall provide all necessary consumable materials and labor to perform traffic data collection using electronic data recorders at the locations specified by the Highway Data Section within the Central Region. These services will be required for the Anchorage, Kenai, and Mat-Su areas. The Contractor shall monitor the electronic data recorders for proper functioning, collect data from specified collection locations, and transfer data to a specified electronic file format for use by the Highway Data Section.

Initial estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2019 to May 2020. Cost of these professional services is expected to be between $200,000 and $250,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available December 17, 2018 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00pm. Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than January 14, 2019, 4:00 pm prevailing time.
