Public Invited to Provide Comment on the Alaska Medicaid Managed Care Quality Strategy

Public comment is invited on the draft Department of Health and Social Services Alaska Medicaid Managed Care Quality Strategy. Federal regulations require the department to develop a quality strategy which serves as a guide for measuring and improving the quality of care provided by the managed care plans. Each state contracting with a managed care organization (MCO) must obtain input from beneficiaries and other key stakeholders in the development of the quality strategy and make the quality strategy available for public comment before adopting it in final.

The Alaska Medicaid Managed Care Quality Strategy is attached for public review and comment. Those interested in providing comment may do so in one of two ways:
