Due to a scheduled power outage in the community of Togiak, the Togiak Fish and Game Advisory Committee meeting will be rescheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00am in the Togiak Traditional Council office.
The Togiak Fish and Game Advisory Committee will be holding a public meeting in the Togiak Traditional Council office in Togiak, Alaska on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00am.

Agenda items will include the following:
- Elections for AC Members including two Togiak designated seats, three undesignated seats, and two alternate seats.
- Elections for AC Officers
- Board of Game re-authorization proposals 134 and 140 (Re-authorization of the 17A antlerless moose season, and the Central/Southwest region brown bear tag fee exemption)
- Board of Fisheries Bristol Bay Finfish proposals
- Discussion of Stand for Salmon ballot measure 1

Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
