KUPARUK CENTRAL PRODUCTION FACILITY #3
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ0171MSS02 to ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. (CPAI) for the Kuparuk Central Production Facility #3.
Applicant: ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., P.O. Box 100360, Anchorage, AK 99510-0360
Location: Township 12N, Range 9E, Sections 10 and 15; Umiat Meridian
Activity: The minor permit is classified under 18 AAC 50.508(6) to revise or rescind terms and conditions of a Title I permit. CPAI requested to revise existing H2S limits.
Emissions: The increase in potential SO2 emissions will be 1.1 ton per year.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents, as long as they are received within the timeframe listed below. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period. Any person may request a public hearing and that hearing will be held if ADEC finds that good cause exists.
