Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southeast Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: DOUGLAS ISLAND PINK & CHUM INC (DIPAC)
PROJECT NAME: LAS 29306
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Lena Cove, City and Borough of Juneau
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SW 1/4 SW 1/4, Sec. 18, T. 40 S., R. 65 E., CRM
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Douglas Island Pink & Chum Inc. (DIPAC) has submitted an application to the Division of Mining Land and Water (DMLW) for a 5-year Land Use Permit requesting continued authorization for seasonal (April 15 - June 30) moorage of one (1) 40' x 40' salmon rearing net pen on state owned submerged lands within Lena Cove. The net pen (46' x 46' with surrounding walkway) is secured to the submerged lands with two (2) 750-pound Danforth anchors.

Start: June 18, 2018
End: June 17, 2023
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: August 3, 2018
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southeast Regional Land Office, 400 Willoughby Avenue/PO Box 111020, Juneau, AK 99811-1020 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
