Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Department Of Transportation And Public Facilities
PROJECT NAME: ADL 232823
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Turnagain Pass, Alaska
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Sections 5 and 6 of Township 8 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian, Alaska.
Sections 26, 27, 28, 32 and 33 of Township 9 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian, Alaska.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: DOT&PF has requested a public easement for existing highway improvements along the Seward Highway between Bertha Creek and Ingram Creek. The requested easement dimensions are approximately 24, 361 feet in length, approximately 171 acres, and a minimum width of 300 feet. Additional width is needed for several areas where the cut and slope exceeds beyond 300 feet. Please see the attached drawing for the approximate area of the requested easement
REQUESTED TERM: Perpetual

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at Southcentral Regional Land Office, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above.
