The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has determined that the request for permit modification, submitted by the North Slope Borough, to include a cell for disposal of regulated asbestos-containing material (RACM) at the Oxbow Class I landfill in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, is complete. ADEC is proposing to issue Solid Waste Permit #SW3A008-22a to include the modification.

The applicant proposes to allow disposal of RACM in a separate cell within the landfill in compliance with state and federal regulations.
