Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: MATANUSKA SUSITNA BOROUGH
PROJECT NAME: ADL 233120
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Hatcher Pass, Alaska.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Sections 2, 3, 10, 11 and 15, all within Township 19 North, Range 1 East, Seward Meridian.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The purpose of the project is to create a 50 foot wide, 17,504 foot long easement for a non-motorized, multi-use trail that would connect the Southern Sub-Unit of the Government Peak Red Area with the Northern Sub-Unit of the Government peak area and the 16-Mile mountain bike trail, totaling 20 acres. Please see the attached drawing for a depiction of the requested easement (Proposed trails are labeled as AK-1, AK-2, AK-3).
REQUESTED TERM: Perpetual

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at Southcentral Regional Land Office, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
