PUBLIC NOTICE
Regarding disposal of an interest in municipal trust land in Evansville, Alaska by the Municipal Lands Trustee
In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.410 - .460 the Municipal Land Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, is considering the issuance of a lease for the following described parcel of Municipal Trust land to Evansville Village for the site of a maintenance shop:
The surface estate of that certain real property located in Section 8, Township 24 North, Range 18 West, Fairbanks Meridian, Alaska, being situated in the Native village of Evansville, 0.67 acres more or less, as more particularly described and shown in the attached property plan.
The Evansville Village, the recognized appropriate village entity for the village of Evansville, adopted a resolution approving the lease on June 20, 2018.
This notice is being posted and published in accordance with the requirements of 3 AAC 190.420 and .910.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed lease.

Following the comment deadline, all responses will be reviewed and the Commissioner’s decision on this matter may be modified as a result of information received.
