The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is proposing to improve the western end of Airport Way. Improvements include construction of a non-motorized pathway, minor intersection improvements, and resurfacing of Airport Way, Old Airport Road, Wein Lake Road, Dale Road, and Hoselton Road. Please note the project no longer includes construction of a roundabout at Airport Way, Dale Road, and Hoselton Road.
DOT&PF invites the public to an open house meeting to learn about the proposed improvements, provide input, and have questions about the project answered.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by DOT&PF pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated November 3, 2017 and executed by FHWA and DOT&PF.
