The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, proposes to designate a parcel of land, Block 120, at Fairbanks International Airport, for the creation of a Land Farm for the relocation and remediation of contaminated soils on tenant leased land. The area consists of approximately 104,200 square feet and will be divided into separate parcels to be determined by requirements for use by FAI tenants. Each parcel will be leased for a term not to exceed five years. Annual rent for the land will be calculated at the current published aeronautical rate of $.12 per square foot per year.
