The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Behavioral Services- Alaska Psychiatric Institute would like to contract services following the Peer Bridger Services model for its patients within the Hospital. Peer Bridger services are provided by people in mental health and/or addiction recovery who are trained in peer support and use their personal recovery experience as the basis for service. This helps to support transition and bridge services for patients who are moving from an institutional care setting to a community setting..
