NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Parks Highway: Seward Meridian Pkwy. To Lucus Rd. Preventive Maintenance Design Services
RFP No. 25182049
The Contractor shall provide design services for the Parks Highway: Seward Meridian Parkway to Lucus Road Preventive Maintenance project. Anticipated work includes providing support for in-house environmental staff, minor public involvement (attending Mat-Su Transportation Fairs), surveying, inspecting drainage structures, developing a Design Study Report, Traffic Control Plan, Erosion, Sediment Control Plan and PS&E bid package. Work also includes bidding & construction assistance. It is anticipated that the Contracting Agency will provide the following services: environmental document, utility agreements, geotechnical investigation & recommendations, and right of way mapping if required (not anticipated); however, the Contracting Agency reserves the right to add these services by amendment. Right of way acquisition services are not anticipated, however, if they are required, the Contracting Agency will perform those services.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately April 2018 to November 2020. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available February 8, 2018 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at before . Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by phoning (907) 269-0408.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than March 1, 2018, 4:00 PM prevailing time.
