Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Hilcorp Alaska, LLC.(Hilcorp)

PROJECT NAME: LAS 22774

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:

State land on the North Slope, Colville to Canning Rivers, including shorelands, tidelands, and submerged lands.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY:

Hilcorp has requested a re-issuance of its storage permit for continued use of state land for various storage activities.  This permit is proposed to be general in nature and each storage activity is authorized individually under the permit.  Storage activities may be related to activities at Milne Point Unit, Northstar Unit, Endicott Unit, or the proposed Liberty Project.  Storage activities may include vehicles and equipment that have drip pans and/or surface liners place under them. Any fuel or hazardous substances will be stored in impermeable containment as specified in Hilcorp’s ADEC North Slope Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:

Start: March 2018

End: February 2023

After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity.  The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
