The SILC Full Board Meeting will be held via in person, and also available on teleconference and web-based platform on Monday, February 12th from 9am – 5pm and Tuesday, February 13th from 9am – Noon.

Public testimony is scheduled from 4:00pm – 5pm on Monday, February 12th at the Prospector Hotel, via teleconference line, and via Go To Meeting platform.

 

On Monday, February 12th from 4pm – 5pm,  public comment can be given via the teleconference/web-based platform, using the audio conference number and the web address listed above.

Public comment can also be submitted in written format.  Written public comments must be delivered to the SILC no later than Friday, February 9th at close of business.  Written comments can be sent via USPS (1057 West Fireweed Lane, Suite 206, Anchorage, Alaska 99503), fax (907-263-2012), or email (heidi@alaskasilc.org).

 

The SILC is interested in comments from people with disabilities, family and friends, service providers, and other concerned citizens on topics dealing with the ability for Alaskans with disabilities to live independently.  Topics include, but aren’t limited to, transportation, housing, healthcare, emergency preparedness, employment, and home and community based services. This meeting is open to the public for any persons wishing to testify.
