NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE
ALASKA BOARD OF GAME

Notice is given that the Alaska Board of Game (Board) will hold a non-regulatory meeting via teleconference at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2018. The purpose of the Board meeting is to consider two agenda change requests (ACR) submitted for the February 2018 regulatory meeting cycle, and to address any other non-regulatory board business. The Board did not intend to conduct a second review of ACR submissions for its published schedule. However, on a technical review of 5 AAC 92.005 there is adequate cause to review additional ACRs received 60 days prior to the February 2018 board meeting.

The Board will be accepting written public comment if received by Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Please limit your comments to reasons why the ACRs should or should not be scheduled for the February 2018 regulatory meetings. (See the Board’s ACR policy at www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=gameboard.forms.) General comments in support or opposition to the issue of the ACRs are not relevant to the Board’s decision for this meeting. Written comments must be submitted on the Board’s website at www.boardofgame.adfg.alaska.gov; by fax to (907) 465-6094; or emailed as attachments only, to dfg.bog.comments@alaska.gov. 

The Board will not be taking public testimony during the teleconference. A live audio stream of the meeting will be available at www.boardofgame.adfg.alaska.gov for the public to listen to.
