Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA446-8, seeking to amend the terms of its Isolated Operating Agreement for Government-Owned Disaster Preparedness Generation Facilities (Agreement) with the Anchorage School District (ASD).

The proposed amendment revises the Agreement in two ways: 1) commissioning and testing protocols associated with the original commissioning of the generation unit have been removed; and, 2) switching responsibilities have been transferred from ASD to Chugach.  With TA446-8, Chugach also proposes extending the term of the contract from December 31, 2017 to December 31, 2027.
