NOTICE OF UTILITY’S PROPOSAL TO ADOPT INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Commission) gives notice that on October 3, 2017, ACS of Anchorage, LLC, (ACS-AN) submitted for approval the agreement between ACS-AN and Wide Voice, LLC (Wide Voice) adopting the existing Interconnection and Resale Agreement (Agreement) between ACS Local Exchange Companies and GCI Communication Corp., d/b/a GCI Communication, Inc. and GCI (GCI). Wide Voice seeks to adopt the GCI Agreement, which was approved by the Commission in Order U-17-019(2), pursuant to
47 U.S.C. §252(i). Docket No. U-17-089 was opened to address the matter.
ACS-AN states that it reserves the right to deny Wide Voice's application of the terms in the Agreement, in whole or in part, at any time (1) when the costs of providing facilities and services to Wide Voice are greater than the costs of providing them to GCI; (2) if the provision of facilities and services to Wide Voice is not technically feasible; and/or (3) to the extent that ACS-AN otherwise is not required to make the terms available to Wide voice under applicable law. The initial term of the Agreement concludes July 1, 2022, and continues thereafter on consent of the parties.
