Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Summit Telephone and Telegraph Company of Alaska, Inc. d/b/a Summit Telephone Company, Inc. (Summit), filed TA52-350, proposing to discontinue the Basic Exchange Telecommunications Radio Service (BETRS) for new customers.
With TA52-350, Summit proposes to grandfather existing customers to the program. However, Summit proposes that if BETRS is discontinued by a customer for any reason, including seasonal discontinuance or non-payment, the service will not be restored.
