Alaska Travel Adventures, Inc.

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southeast Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Alaska Travel Adventures, Inc.

PROJECT NAME: LAS 19404

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Lake Harriet Hunt, approximately 10 miles North of Ketchikan

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SE ¼ SW ¼, Sec. 33, T. 73 S., R. 91 E., CRM 

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Alaska Travel Adventures, Inc. has submitted an application to the Division of Mining Land and Water (DMLW) for a 5-year Land Use Permit requesting authorization for seasonal placement of three commercial use docks, one mooring buoy, and a recreation site on state owned uplands at Lake Harriet Hunt.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE: Start: May 1, 2017         End: April 30, 2022

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: September 29, 2017

The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 400 Willoughby Avenue/PO Box 111020, Juneau, AK 99811-1020 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
