PUBLIC NOTICE
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Auction #483, Creek Bend House under AS 38.05.055 will begin September 15. Sealed auction bids are accepted September 15 through October 16. This auction features the Creek Bend House which is located on the Old Glenn Highway at MP 5.25 near Palmer and Butte. This auction will be a sealed-bid auction; the procedures are largely unchanged from the 2017 annual auction. An electronic version of the brochure with information about the procedures and parcel is available at http://landsales.alaska.gov. Auction bidding is limited to Alaska residents.
Free paper brochures will be available upon request beginning September 15.
Auction bids will be opened and the apparent bidder will be announced on October 19, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Robert Atwood Building, suite 1080, in Anchorage. Attendance at the bid opening will not affect the outcome.
If not sold at auction this parcel may be available in the General Over-the-Counter (OTC) sales, which are open to both Alaska and non-Alaska residents. See http://landsales.alaska.gov for details of sale procedures.

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 Notice, the public is invited to submit comment on the proposed auction. The deadline for public comment is 5:00PM, Thursday, October 12, 2017. Only persons from whom DNR DMLW LSS receives timely, written comment during the identified comment period will be eligible to file an appeal. If no significant change is required, a summary of comments and responses will be issued if any comments are received, and the auction and OTC offerings will proceed as scheduled without further notice.
