NOTICE OF ADOPTED CHANGES TO THE REGULATIONS
ON THE USE AND MANAGEMENT OF THE KNIK RIVER PUBLIC USE AREA
On September 5, 2017, the Department of Natural Resources adopted changes in Title 11 of the Alaska Administrative Code dealing with the use and management of the Knik River Public Use Area, establishing new use prohibitions within the area that could result in fines, providing for future user fees, and making minor technical corrections.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on September 8, 2017, and will go into effect on October 8, 2017. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 224, January 2018 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
